Andhra Style Mango Thokku Pachadi
Ingredients:
Mango pieces - 6 Cups ( with skin, without shell)
Garlic pods - 1/2 Cup (with skin)
Roasted Mustard powder - 5 table spoons
Roasted Methi seeds powder - 2 +1/2 table Spoons
Salt - 1/2 Cup
Oil - 2 Cups
Pre process:
Sund dry mango pieces for 5-6 hrs
Process:
1. Mix roasted mustard powder and roasted menthi powder (appx to 1/2 cup), keep aside
3. Take mango pieces into mixie or blender , coarsely pulse
5. Add Salt, pulse slightly
6. Now coarsely grind garlic
7. Now add the coarsely ground mongo paste to this, blend it again with few pulses
Note: make sure pieces are not ground too much, it has to be coarse , mix half cup oil
8. Now take it into a bottle, and fill it with remaining oil and set aside for half day
Your mango Tokku mukkala Pachadi is ready to be enjoyed with Steaming Hot Rice / Rice rawa Upma / Uppudi Pindi and Ghee
