Green Peas Pulav with coconut milk




Peas pulav is a simple one pot meal cooked in delicious coconut milk. 

Ingredients:
- Green peas 1.5 cups
- Rice 2.5 cups
- Thick coconut milk 1.5 cups (used Dabur homemade coconut milk)
- Water 3.5 cups
- Oil 2 tsp
- ghee 1 tsp
- salt to taste
- green chillies -5/6 slit
- onion - 1 medium coarsely chopped
- ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp

Spices

- Elaichi - 6/7
- Dalchini - 2 inch 
- cloves - 7/8
- bay leaf - 2
- Shah jeera 1 tsp
- pepper - 10




Pre- Process:

1. Slightly crush Dalchini, elaichi, cloves and pepper

2. Wash rice and set aside
Preperation:

1. Now heat cooker, add oil and ghee
2. Now add bay leaves, Shah jeera, then the crushed spices, wait till aroma starts coming
3. Now add green chillies and onions
4. Fry for some time till onions turns transculent, add ginger garlic paste
5. Saute and add green peas. Mix well & add salt. 

6. Now mix well & fry for some time.
Cook with covered  lid for few mins
7. Now add rice, mix well
8. Add coconut milk and water
9. Check for salt and spice add if needed. Cook without covering till bubbles come up
10. Close the lid, cook for 2 whistles in medium  . Turn off Stove, leave it for few mins . Your green peas pulav is ready to eat .

Serve with any gravy curry and Raita
