Smoked Pineapple ~Tangy barbecue styled



This smoked pineapple leaves a sweet tangy flavor inside which will make you have more and more. 




Ingredients :
 - Pineapple pieces - 2 cups (large chunks)

Masala Paste :

- Salt - as per your taste
- Chat Powder - 1 tsp
- Dhaniya Powder - 1 tsp
- Jeera Powder - 1 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1/2 lemon
- Dry Red Chillies - 6-7 (soaked)
- Jaggery - 1/4 cup
- Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
- Oil

Recipe :

1. In a blender, add all the ingredients under the masala paste and blend into a smooth paste.
2. Now take the pineapple pieces and add 1 tbsp of masala paste. Mix nicely that all the pieces are coated well.
* You can also coat Paneer and Bell Peppers along.

3. Let this sit in refrigerator for 1-2 hrs. This helps the pineapple pieces to get well marinated. You can later taste and adjust spices or squeeze lemon too.


4. Now grease your tawa / cast iron tawa / grill tawa / barbecue grill. Slowly roast the pineapple pieces on both sides till they become slightly crisp and properly grilled or roasted. Use little oil if needed. 

Tasty smoked Pineapples are all set to enjoy..
