Caramelized Halwa



Halwa is one of the quick and pro dish prepared in almost every Indian house. Every house has it own recipe and so there are many variations in Halwas. 
Bringing here the caramel sauce version.



Ingredients :

Caramel Sauce
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Fresh Cream - 1/2 cup
- Ghee - 1/4 cup

Halwa
- Semolina - 1/4 cup
- Milk - 1 1/2 cup
- Broken Cashews - 10-15
- Ghee - 2 tbsps
- Sugar - 3 tbsps
- Elaichi Powder - 1/4 tsp

Recipe :

1.Caramel Sauce Preparation - Heat a pan, add sugar and wait till it starts getting crystallized. Then start mixing, this will slowly turn to brown. Add ghee.
2. Now add fresh cream and start mixing. You will see bubbles, keep stirring and don't let it burn. 
Stir for 5-10mins until it becomes thick and glossy.
Caramel sauce is all ready.
3. Now in another pan heat ghee and add semolina . Fry the semolina till it gets slightly brown. Add cashews and fry together.
4. Add milk little by little and keep stirring so that lumps of semolina are not formed.
5. Let the semolina completely cook. Then add caramel sauce to it and keep stirring. 
Check for the sweetness and if required add sugar.
6.  Finally add elaichi powder and keep stirring till you see ghee oozing out and halwa leaving the sides of the pan.
Tasty Caramelized Halwa is all ready to relish.
