Sago's Bajji


Soft and tasty Sago bajji are a replica to the Mysore bonda. These are soaked in sour curd and deep fried. Bajjis are great for breakfast / snacks / dinner. 



Ingredients :

- Saggo / Tapioca pearls - 1/2 cup
- All purpose flour / Maida - 1 cup
- Sour Curd - 2 cups
- Jeera - 1 tsp
- Green chillies - 4-5
- Ginger - 1 1/2 inch
- Rice flour - 1/4 cup
- Salt - as required
- Oil - for deep frying


Recipe :

1. In a blender, add jeera, green chillies and ginger. Blend coarsely or you can crush in a mortal pestol.
2. Now in a mixing bowl, add saggo, maida, salt, jeera -ginger-green chillies paste. Add 1 1/2 cups of curd and mix well.
3, This has to soak well for at least 4-6 hrs.
4. Half n hr before frying the balls add rice flour and mix. If it is too hard add some curd and let it sit. 

5. Wet your hands and form a ball. 
6. Heat oil and deep fry the balls till golden brown. Take the fried bajjis into a tissue paper plate. 
7. Serve hot with chutney.

Malabar Spinach / Bachali kura  is widely part of the traditional Indian cuisine. These green leaves are rich  in vitamin A , C , iron and calcium. They give immense benefits to the body when eaten in right  quantities. The well known Andhra dish is Kandha Bachali Koora.... Godhuma Atlu / Atta Chilla

Godhuma Atlu / Atta Chilla / Wheat Dosa is a healthy dosa which doesn't require any fermentation. This has quite a unique taste than the usual varieties.
