Masala Roasted Chah ~ Aromatic


Indians and Chah / Chai share a very special bond. We never get bored of Chai as we have a huge range of variations and this is the only hot beverage that suits every season and mood.
Many times an aromatic masala chai simply cures a headache and makes cold much better to deal with.





Ingredients :

- Cinnamon / Dalchini stick - 1
- Cloves - 4-5
- Cardamom / Elaichi - 3 pods or 1/4 tsp seeds
- Peppercorns / Pepper powder - 4-5 / 1/2 tsp
- Dry Ginger Powder / Sonthi - 1 tsp
- Tea Powder - 2 tsps
- Milk - 1 big cup
- Sugar - as required

Recipe :

1. Crush cinnamon, cloves, pepper corns and elaichi in a mortal pestle coarsely.
2. Heat a sauce pan or tea vessel, add the crushed powder.
3. Also add the dry ginger powder, pepper powder (if you are using), tea powder.
You can change the quantity as per your need.
4. Fry well till you get nice aroma. Don't burn or over roast.
5. Add the milk, mix once and bring it to boil.
6. When you see the first boil, add the sugar as per your taste.
7. Let this boil well and when done strain the tea and enjoy.
Aromatic roasted masala chah is all ready to enjoy.

Alu Baath

This is a simple flavor rice, with no onion , no garlic..
