Gulab Jamun Chocolate chip Cookies ~ Indofusion


Gulab Jamun is absolute favorite dessert of India. Made out from our very own dessert, these cookies are a promise of a pure bliss in the mouth. 




Ingredients :
— Gulab Jamun mix powder - 2 ½ cups
  (Used MTR powder)
— Sugar - 1 cup (powdered) 
— Almond flour - 2tbsps
— Elachi powder - 1/2 tsp
— Butter - 1 cup (melted)
— Chocolate chips - 1/4 cup

Recipe :

1. In a mixing bowl, add gulab jamun mix powder, sugar powder, almond flour, melted butter, chocolate chips and elachi powder.
2. Form a dough mixing properly.
3. Refrigerate the dough for 30 mins to 1 hr.

4. Dont worry if the dough looks like breaking, this all good to use.
5. Roll small balls and flatten them.

6. Line them on cookie sheet with parchment paper. Maintain enough space between the cookie so that they can rise evenly.

7. Bake these cookies at 350 °F or 160°C for 8-10mins or untill they turn slightly brown. 

8. Let them cool for 15mins before you touch or move them out from the cookies sheet. 
9. Store them in an air tight container.

Bachalikura / Malabar Spinach Majjiga Pulusu

Malabar Spinach / Bachali kura  is widely part of the traditional Indian cuisine. These green leaves are rich  in vitamin A , C , iron and calcium. They give immense benefits to the body when eaten in right  quantities. The well known Andhra dish is Kandha Bachali Koora.... Godhuma Atlu / Atta Chilla / Wheat Dosa is a healthy dosa which doesn't require any fermentation. This has quite a unique taste than the usual varieties.
