Dahi Bread Wada ~ Quick and easy (very less Oil)


Dahi Bread wada is a great dish for breakfast /snack /dinner. This will also be a party hit.. 





Ingredients :
— French Loaf bread or normal bread or pav
— Oil - 1 tbsp
— Green chillies - 3-4
— Chopped ginger - 1 tbsp
— Curry leaves
— Turmeric - pinch
— Hing - 1/2 tsp
— Curd - 1 ½ cups 
— Water - 1/2 cup
— Jeera seeds - 1/2 tsp
— Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
— Channa dal - 1/2 tsp
— Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
— Dry red chillies - 3-4

Recipe :

1. Slice the bread into pieces. You can use normal bread or pav. Make pieces accordingly so that it t
doesn't get mashed when soaked. 
2. Arrange the pieces in a rectangular surface bowl or vessel.
3. Mix curd, water, salt together without lumps.
4. Pour over the pieces and layer the bread pieces.
5. All pieces should submerge in curd. Press down properly but dnt crumble. 
6. Now prepare the tadka, in a pan heat oil add jeera, mustard, channa dal, urad dal, dry red chillies. Let this fry and add chopped green chillies, chopped ginger, curry leaves and hing.
Add pinch of turmeric and turn off the heat when fried. 
7. Pour over the soaking bread pieces.
8. Let this soak for 15-30 mins. Let the bread pieces nicely absorb curd and tadka flavors. 

Serve the tasty Dahi bread..
